Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI. This PRN role involves 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 2 shifts per month, at least one weekend shift, and one holiday per year.

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and contribute to discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure/certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• Previous experience in adult medical rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality rehabilitative care under supervision of an OT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
