Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking a Rehab Aide to support inpatient Rehabilitation Services. The role assists PT/OT/SLP teams with patient care, equipment setup, and clerical tasks, contributing to efficient operations and timely therapy sessions at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH.

This per diem position covers weekends and afternoon shifts, requiring a high school diploma and CPR certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification within 90 days of employment required.
• Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting or healthcare related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists rehab staff (PT/OT/SLP) in provision of patient care including assisting with treatment sessions and patient handling under direct supervision of therapist.
• Assists with equipment procurement and setup; maintains inventory and orders supplies.
• Cleans and maintains rehabilitation equipment per policies.
• Completes front desk operations including answering phones, scheduling patients, collecting co-pays, registering patients, and verifying insurance benefits.
• Sends and receives rehabilitation documentation to/from providers, HIM, and insurance companies.
