Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for an inpatient role at Pascack Valley Medical Center, a 128-bed community hospital in Westwood, New Jersey. Join a mission-driven team delivering nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process, collaborating across departments to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will provide counseling, support clinical teams, and engage in ongoing professional development within Sodexo’s career ladder and benefit programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with ACEND coursework.
• ORBachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements for eligibility prior to 1/1/2024.
• Meets RD/RDN eligibility via CDR and registers within 120 days of hire.
• Must meet state licensure/certification requirements where applicable.
• 0–1 year management experience; 0–3 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutrition care for patients, residents, and communities using the Nutrition Care Process.
• Act as a nutrition resource for patients, peers, and staff; collaborate across teams.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and training to patients and staff.
• Maintain professional practices aligned with regulatory standards and Sodexo commitments.
• Participate in or lead performance improvement initiatives to improve outcomes and quality.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education and training.
