Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time inpatient position at Yale New Haven Hospital St Raphael Campus in New Haven, CT. This role focuses on delivering nutrition care as part of a contractual agreement with the hospital, with professional growth opportunities through Sodexo’s Career Ladder.

You’ll support patients, residents, and communities using the Nutrition Care Process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and provide education and training to staff and students.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nutrition or dietetics with required ACEND coursework.
• OR Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements for eligibility.
• Meets RD/RDN eligibility via CDR and registers within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutrition care for patients, residents, and communities using the Nutrition Care Process (assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation).
• Act as a nutrition resource across interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and training to patients, healthcare staff, students, and foodservice teams.
• Maintain professional practices aligned with regulatory, facility, and Sodexo standards and client commitments.
• Participate in or lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and service quality.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education and contributions to training or research.
