Job summary

Plum Creek Recovery Ranch is seeking a Recovery Support Staff member to assist clients in recovery, support daily living activities, and participate in therapeutic programs. You will help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and collaborate with nursing staff.

Responsibilities include participating in group activities, de-escalation, and coordinating with the treatment team while upholding patient confidentiality and high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience in mental health and/or recovery support in an inpatient setting preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR and CPI certification.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist assigned clients in daily living activities and therapy.
• Attend and participate in group therapy, in-service education, and staff meetings.
• Maintain safety and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Coordinate with RN/LVN and other units as needed on patient care.
• Document relevant patient information and participate in shift reports.
• Orient new patients to the program and milieu.
• Carry out general nursing assistance as assigned by the nurse in charge.
