Job summary
PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Allen seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our inpatient team in Allen, Texas. You will work under the Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care and help develop treatment plans, with opportunities to contribute to service development within PAM Health.
The ideal candidate has a PTA license in Texas, current BLS, and may hold specialty certifications (Parkinson's, Stroke, Vestibular).
Qualifications
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Preferred specality certifications for Parkinson's Disease, Stroke and Vestibular.
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement treatment programs for individual patients.
- Contribute to development of PTA services and adapt to facility needs.
