Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Temple, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for inpatient, PRN assignments. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered.

You will perform patient assessments, develop and adjust treatment plans, supervise PT aides and PT/ PTA students, and contribute to discharge planning and education for patients and families. This role is part of a multidisciplinary rehab team addressing brain, spinal, and orthopedic injuries.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Certified BLS or obtain it within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Supervise PT aides and PT/PTA students.
• Coordinate discharge planning and education.
• Document sessions per department policies.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Support patient/family education and training.
• Collaborate with the care team on needs.
• Participate in CE seminars and in-services.
