Job summary

McLeod Health is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Inpatient Adult Rehabilitation program. You will evaluate patients, design individualized treatment plans, and guide interventions to improve mobility and function.

Join a collaborative team in a fast-paced inpatient setting. You will mentor PTAs, participate in ongoing education, and help patients regain independence in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active South Carolina Physical Therapy License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient-centered care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations using history, observation, and objective assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and needs.
• Provide treatment for orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular, and functional impairments.
• Monitor progress and modify plans to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries per guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise and mentor PTAs and support patient goals.
• Participate in education and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
