Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC, is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for Inpatient ARU. The role features a typical 8am–5pm schedule, Full Time Days, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

You will perform initial and ongoing assessments, establish a plan of care, and lead PT aides and students. Bachelor’s degree, a valid Physical Therapist license in-state, and BLS within 30 days of hire are required. This fast-paced unit offers growth and tuition assistance opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Licenses: Physical Therapist License in state.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes a plan of care appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient.
• Plans, prepares and carries out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction.
• Direct and supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel.
