Northwestern Medicine seeks a full-time, board-eligible or board-certified adult psychiatrist to join the inpatient behavioral health team at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. The role emphasizes high-quality acute psychiatric care with interdisciplinary collaboration in a physician-led system.

The successful candidate will participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and program development within a 48-bed inpatient service, supported by Epic EHR and a collegial

Qualificações

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Psychiatry.
• Eligible for unrestricted IL medical licensure.
• Eligible for Northwestern Medicine medical staff appointment.
• Current or eligible DEA registration.
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adults on inpatient service.
• Lead daily interdisciplinary treatment-planning rounds.
• Develop and oversee evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide psychopharmacologic management and crisis stabilization.
• Coordinate safe transitions of care with inpatient and community services.
• Support patient safety, clinical quality, and continuity of care.
