Job summary

MUSC Health Orangeburg is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified general psychiatrist for inpatient hospital-based coverage, including the inpatient unit, EmPATH unit, and consults, with teaching duties in the MUSC Orangeburg Psychiatry Residency Program.

You will collaborate with MUSC’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in Charleston, care for diverse, high-acuity patients, and work with a supportive clinical staff in a growing multispecialty team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible general psychiatrist.
• Inpatient hospital-based coverage including unit, EmPATH, and consults.
• Teaching faculty for Psychiatry Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient psychiatry hospital-based coverage of unit and consults.
• Teaching role in the MUSC Orangeburg Psychiatry Residency Program.
• Collaborate with MUSC’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in Charleston.
• Manage diverse, high-acuity cases with multidisciplinary support.
