Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC - Univ) seeks a full-time faculty-attending psychiatrist to deliver clinical services to the Psychiatry Hospitalist Division, including adult ER, consult-liaison, and inpatient care. The role expects M-F daytime hours with weekend/holiday coverage and some overnight call shifts, and requires an unrestricted SC medical license.

This position is based in Charleston, South Carolina, within the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold an unrestricted license to practice psychiatry in South Carolina.
• Ability to provide adult psychiatry services including ER, consult-liaison, and inpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to the Psychiatry Hospitalist Division (ER, consult-liaison, inpatient).
• Work a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend/holiday coverage and overnight call shifts.
• Collaborate with hospital teams to coordinate patient care.
