Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or counseling or relevant state licensure.
• Experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
• Current unencumbered clinical license per state of practice guidelines.
• CPR and CPI certification within 30 days of employment.
• May be required to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling including group, individual and family therapy for patients with psychiatric and/or substance use issues.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Contributes to treatment planning and engagement with patients and families.
• Communicates with interdisciplinary team and outside referral sources.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates crisis intervention and de-escalation skills as needed.
