Job summary

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Amarillo seeks qualified therapists to provide direct clinical services for adults and seniors with anxiety, depression and other mental health issues. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team.

As part of Oceans’ comprehensive care approach, you will deliver individual, family and group therapy, ensure ethical patient care, and support long-term wellness through inpatient and outpatient

Qualifications

• Provides direct clinical services in line with accepted practice standards.
• Plans and conducts individual, family and/or group therapy as assigned by supervisor.
• Conducts, assesses and interprets completion of Comprehensive Integrated Assessment.
• Reviews multidisciplinary assessments and compiles a treatment plan under physician supervision.
• Performs case management and discharge planning as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct clinical services in accordance with professional standards.
• Attends multidisciplinary meetings and shares progress updates.
• Interprets patient responses to treatment with sensitivity to age, disability and culture.
• Identifies safety and psychosocial needs and communicates with patients and families.
• Contributes to treatment and discharge planning with the patient's support system.
