Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health in Neptune, NJ, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Jersey Shore University Medical Center inpatient psychiatry unit. The role involves delivering evidence-based nursing care, coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in New Jersey.
- BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
- Minimum 6 months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency participation.
- At least 2 years of psychiatric/mental health nursing preferred.
- BSN in progress and/or willingness to pursue within 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care per up-to-date evidence-based practices and standards.
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients and care team.
- Administer medications with bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
- Document assessments, care plans, and evaluations in real time.
- Provide patient/family education to support health and disease management.
- Discharge patients with safe transitions and continuity of care.
