The position requires an Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing, RN licensure, and CPI certification within 60 days of hire. The Magnet-designated hospital emphasizes safe, compassionate, team-based care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 Year / Associate Degree.
• Associate (or Diploma) RNs with less than 5 years of RN experience hired into this position must commit to completing their Bachelor of Nursing degree within 4 years after their hire date.
• Billings Clinic may help support the cost through financial assistance.
• Registered Nurse License at hire.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification within 60 days of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes holistic nursing practices and the nursing process within the plan of care.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to execute the plan of care.
• Ensures complete, accurate and timely entry into the patient medical record.
• Adheres to safety standards and policies; identifies safety issues and initiates action.
• Maintains competency with equipment, pharmacology and lab values relevant to the area.
• Implements evidence-based practice and quality improvement within the Magnet framework.
• Engages in ongoing professional growth and development.
