University of Vermont Health in Burlington, VT is seeking a Registered Nurse for our inpatient psychiatric units. RNs actively participate in treatment plans, rounds, psychiatric and medical/surgical assessment, and precepting within a multidisciplinary team including MHT/LNAs, Providers, social workers, and therapists.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
• ADN required, BSN preferred
• Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.

Responsibilities

• RNs work on inpatient psychiatric units, participate in treatment plans, rounds, and psychiatric and medical/surgical assessment.
• RNs are trained to cover the Charge RN role and to precept.
