Job summary

Freeman Health System in Missouri is seeking a registered nurse to join the Psychiatry unit. The role focuses on inpatient psychiatric care, with a 42-bed adult unit and a 10-bed geriatric unit, working with the medical plan of care to assess and address physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs.

This full-time day shift (36 hours per week) requires current Missouri RN license or compact-state license; experience in behavioral health preferred.

Qualifications

• Independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of patients' physical, emotional, clinical and psychosocial needs.
• Plans and implements interventions; evaluates effectiveness with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Assess psychiatric patients and families as part of the care plan and coordinate interventions.
• Document progress and adjust plans to ensure safe and effective care.
