Job summary

MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center Psychiatry is seeking experienced nurses to join us in available part-time positions. The 29-bed unit supports involuntary and voluntary patients and includes a crisis stabilization service.

Staff work closely with security and other providers in a collaborative, hands-on team environment. As a Clinical Nurse, you will deliver skilled care across a spectrum of needs, from routine to highly complex, assess evolving conditions, and develop appropriate care

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Assess evolving patient conditions and develop care plans for routine to complex needs.
• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families.
• Coordinate interventions with other nursing team members.
