Job summary

Eagleville Hospital in Eagleville, PA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong leadership to supervise nursing staff on the assigned shift and oversee the delivery of patient care.

The Manager will coordinate admissions and discharge processes, ensure quality care in psychiatric and drug/alcohol settings, participate in training and committees, and promote patient safety. Weekend commitment required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania RN license.
• Minimum of five years as a practicing RN.
• Management experience in psychiatric/drug-alcohol settings (evaluated individually).

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on the assigned shift.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharge processes.
• Act as clinical resource and role model for nursing staff.
• Coordinate care and respond to emergencies; supervise care for patients with wounds, seizures, anticoagulants.
• Ensure safety, unit staffing and timecard accuracy; participate in quality improvement activities.
• Attend mandated training and participate in committees as required.
