Qualifications

• Active Florida nursing license required.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Preferred 1 year experience in psychiatric inpatient setting (5–65 yrs).
• Work hours: 12-hour shifts; day/night; rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate staffing on the unit to meet patient demand.
• Communicate effectively with physicians; resolve unit issues timely.
• Manage unit FTEs and overtime with regard to budget and financial impact.
• Demonstrate exemplary communication skills.
• Follow risk management and infection control policies.
