Job summary

Sierra Health + Wellness is seeking an LVN for our Orangevale, CA inpatient facility. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care under physicians’ orders in a 15-bed setting, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and well-being.

The position requires an LVN license and valid driver’s license, with responsibilities including medication administration, charting, and crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license or Psychiatric Technician license.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Health screen/drug screen/TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of patient care.
• Provide individualized resident care and medical support.
• Prepare and review medical records and nurses' notes.
• Provide care per Physician orders and facility policies.
• Prepare and monitor patient medications as ordered.
• Monitor and report adverse reactions to medications.
• Document charting and care plans.
• Maintain infection control procedures and crisis intervention techniques.
• Ensure compliance with licensing/accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions.
• Provide client assistance in crisis situations.
• Maintain EMR.
