Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking staff for McLean SouthEast to provide direct psychiatric patient care, support the therapeutic milieu, and participate in medication management and behavioral interventions. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and 0-1 year related experience. CPI training must be completed within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS Certification preferred or required.
• LNA licensure (New Hampshire) preferred.
• New Hampshire Board of Nursing preferred.
• Related experience 0-1 year preferred.
• Successful CPI training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with care and treatment of psychiatric, drug and alcohol patients.
• Advocate for patients who may be vulnerable or need additional support.
• Provide parent/family counseling and training as needed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines for patients on special status (suicide, abuse, AWOL).
• Transmit accurate shift-to-shift reports and remain on unit during reports.
• Think and act quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
• Maintain professional boundaries with patients at all times.
• Complete and file all required documentation in a timely manner.
