Job summary
Care New England is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Consultation-Liaison team at Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, hospital-based environment providing psychiatric consultation services to patients in the emergency department and inpatient medical units. Per diem weekend coverage and occasional Day coverage.
100% inpatient consultation-liaison psychiatry. Epic utilized system wide.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Certified by ANCC or AANPCB.
- Active Rhode Island APRN, RN, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric consultations and follow-up evaluations for patients in the emergency department and hospital units.
- 100% inpatient consultation-liaison psychiatry.
- Per diem weekend coverage and occasional Day coverage.
- Epic utilized system wide.
