Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a board-certified Physiatrist for an inpatient rehab assignment in Michigan. The clinician will provide PM&R services on a 20-bed unit, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on-site with no weekend requirements.

The role includes patient evaluations, treatment planning, rounding, and coordinating care for adults, with thorough clinical documentation throughout the coverage period.

Qualifications

• Board certification in PM&R is required.
• MD/DO physician licensed to practice in Michigan.
• Inpatient physiatry experience preferred.
• On-site, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, no weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient PM&R assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate care and document in facility EMR per protocol.
• Round with interdisciplinary team and ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation throughout coverage period.
