Independence Health System in the United States seeks a Physician Assistant to provide inpatient patient care under supervising physicians. A graduate of an ARC-PA-accredited PA program with current PA license, NCCPA certification, CPR, and Act 33/73 clearances is required; a minimum of one year of inpatient hospital experience is preferred.

• Manage day-to-day inpatient patient care in conjunction with supervising physicians.
• Provide patients and/or families with information about treatment and prognosis; educate on common problems.
• Formulate differential diagnoses by prioritizing potential mechanisms for acute/critical/chronic illness states.
• Demonstrate effective communication and documentation while maintaining patient confidentiality.
