Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist for weekend coverage as needed. This part-time role focuses on direct patient care within our Rehabilitation Services.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across Chicago and northern Illinois hospitals to deliver evidence-based therapy and contribute to patient progress. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy, Illinois licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in State of Illinois.
• BLS from American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates NM values of teamwork, patients first, integrity, and excellence.
• Provides direct patient care, teaching, and participates on committees and process improvement.
• Maintains primary responsibility over patient plans of care through collaboration with PT/PTA(s).
• Completes daily notes in EMR reflecting patient progress and treatment outcomes.
