Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our rehab team in Missouri. You will follow therapist-directed plans, document progress, and support discharge planning for patients referred by physicians.

The role requires a current Missouri PTA license, BLS certification, and eligibility to pass required background checks. You will collaborate with therapists and care staff to restore mobility and function for patients across the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days of hire.
• Current Missouri Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Must pass KDADS criminal record check and Family Care Safety Registry.

Responsibilities

• Independently follows a treatment plan based on therapist goals and documents progress.
• Supervises and directs treatment and activity of support staff.
• Discharge planning for physician-referred patients in accordance with policy.
