Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
• BLS Provider Certification through American Heart Association.
• Clinical experience preferred; new graduates with strong internships encouraged.
• Knowledge of PT evaluation techniques, treatment planning, and documentation standards.
• Ability to work per diem and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate patients using standardized tools and develop goals.
• Administer physical therapy treatments per standards and policies.
• Monitor progress, document responses, and modify plans with the care team.
• Create discharge plans with home exercise programs and education.
• Maintain accurate medical records and daily billing documentation.
• Communicate progress and care plans with physicians and families.
• Supervise PT Assistants and mentor students during clinical instruction.
