Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Johnston is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality inpatient care and guide patients through their rehabilitation journey. You’ll work in state-of-the-art therapy gyms with a supportive team focused on compassionate, patient-centered outcomes.

Key duties include patient assessments, care planning, supervising treatments, and building meaningful connections with patients and families to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient physical therapy to patients.
• Supervise care and treatments; lead patient assessments and create personalized care plans.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients by understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient progress and victories throughout the rehabilitation journey.
