Job summary

Encompass Health in Bonner Springs, KS is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide direct inpatient care and lead patient assessments within a collaborative rehabilitation team. You will design personalized treatment plans and guide patients on their recovery path, focusing on overall well-being and functional outcomes.

Must hold a current state PT license; BLS/CPR required or obtained within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state license in Physical Therapy.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient physical therapy to patients in need of rehab.
• Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, and create personalized care plans.
• Build meaningful patient relationships by addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient progress and outcomes throughout the rehabilitation journey.
