Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide direct inpatient care within our rehabilitation team. You will guide patients through individualized rehabilitation plans, assess progress, and collaborate with the care team to deliver compassionate, high-quality therapy.

Must hold a current state license in Physical Therapy; CPR/BLS is required within 30 days of hire. Inpatient rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have current state license in Physical Therapy.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Experience providing direct inpatient care to physical therapy patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient physical therapy to patients in need of rehabilitation.
• Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, and develop personalized care plans.
• Address patient concerns and build meaningful therapeutic relationships.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.
• Celebrate patient progress and outcomes throughout rehabilitation.
