Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide inpatient care and actively engage patients in their rehabilitation journey. You will supervise treatments, assess needs, and design personalized plans that address physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Ideal candidates hold current state licensure, CPR certification, and a Master’s degree is preferred, or Bachelor’s with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification is required.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient care to patients in need of physical therapy.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, create personalized care plans and address patient concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress along the rehabilitation journey.
