Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls, ID, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our inpatient team. You will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs under physician orders, focusing on spine and post-op rehab when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Must have current Idaho PT licensure or be in the application process.
• Must have current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Prior inpatient or acute care experience preferred.
• Post-surgical spine rehab experience is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical reasoning, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and administer individualized treatment programs with measurable goals.
• Educate patients on anatomy, biomechanics, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with patients, physicians, nurses, and the team to ensure high-quality care.
• Complete timely documentation on initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge planning.
• Participate in case conferences, departmental meetings, and continuing education.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
