Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC seeks a Physical Therapist for inpatient care in Florida. This full-time position involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing the total plan of care, and delivering therapeutic interventions in the home setting as prescribed by the physician.

Candidates must hold a Florida PT license, possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, and have at least two years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist must be in Florida.
• Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• At least 2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
• Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in the development of the total plan of care.
• Provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care at patients' home, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physicians plan of care.
• Instruct patient/family/caregiver in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and/or prosthetic devices to be used outside of therapy sessions.
• Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs and coordinate assignments/handoffs.
