Job summary

Luminis Health, Inc. in Annapolis, MD is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients from neonatal to geriatric and provide therapeutic interventions per departmental standards.

You will document care, participate in quality and patient safety initiatives, supervise staff PTAs and aides, and stay current with hospital policies. Requires BS in Physical Therapy and Maryland license; acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy.
• Previous acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts Physical Therapy evaluations and treatments, involving varied diagnoses and units, documenting according to departmental policies.
• Meets departmental productivity standards and completes productivity logs in a timely manner.
• Participates in quality and patient safety initiatives, engaging in excellent customer service practices and assisting physicians and staff to identify PT needs for patients of all ages.
• Stays up to date on hospital policies and process improvements by reading correspondence and participating in huddles; responds promptly to communications.
• Provides supervision and support to staff Physical Therapist Assistants, Physical Therapy Aides, students, and volunteers.
