Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Waco seeks a full-time physiatrist to lead inpatient rehabilitation services in Waco, Texas. The position offers collaboration with the Medical Director and leadership to advance clinical care for stroke, brain injury, hip fracture and other complex conditions.

The role includes establishing a private practice with an inpatient caseload and optional outpatient services, while maintaining ownership of billing and collections.

Formación

• MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or similar specialty.
• Patient-centered commitment to excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Hospital-based physiatry experience preferred but not required.
• Interest in being a part of a thriving community.

Responsabilidades

• Works with the Medical Director and leadership to enhance the hospital's rehabilitation program quality and integrity.
• Establishes a private practice to include inpatient rehabilitation and an outpatient rehabilitation caseload; may partner with an independent billing company and retain 100% of billing.
• Provides clinical care to inpatients and participates in system-wide initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.
