Job summary

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Inpatient Pharmacy team. The technician performs accurate preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products under the supervision of a pharmacist, handling duties from clean room to chemotherapy preparation and carousel, with a 0.7 FTE schedule.

Part-Time or 0.7 FTE, 56 hours per pay period, Day/PM rotations and weekend/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of organizational and project management practices.
• Experience in a health-related field, pharmacy and computers beneficial.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification is beneficial.
• State of WI Pharmacy Technician registration required by start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and timely preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Performs multiple technician duties including clean room, cart fill, repackaging, inventory, automated dispensing cabinet, outpatient, first dose, clerical area, chemotherapy preparation, and carousel.
