Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician License from the State of Michigan.
• Ability to type approximately 25 words per minute.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and patients under stress.
• Preferred: 6 months of pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and enter medication orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Prepare medications and labels for accurate dispensing.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas promptly.
• Maintain drug inventory in dispensing areas.
• Process medication charges for services rendered.
• Keep appropriate records to ensure compliance and patient safety.
