Job summary

MemorialCare Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Saddleback Medical Center in Laguna Hills, CA. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist in preparation, dispensation, and inventory management of medications and supplies.

The role requires familiarity with pharmacy automation and EHRs, accurate documentation, and adherence to regulatory standards. Strong teamwork and patient-centered service are essential.

Qualifications

One year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
Compounded sterile products preparation preferred.
California-registered Pharmacy Technician license required; CPht preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitors and triages Pharmacy communications to support inpatient services.
Prepares medications for dispensation from the Pharmacy.
Maintains inventory management and proper recordkeeping.
Delivers medications to units for automated dispensing machines.
Maintains integrity of all medications stored, prepared, or dispensed.
Be punctual and follow company policies and procedures.
Interact positively with pharmacists, technicians, and other departments.
Prioritize and multitask to ensure timely patient care.
