Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Moreno Valley, CA. Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will transcribe orders, prepare medications and IV admixtures, and support unit-dose dispensing and inventory control.

You will handle labels, ensure accuracy, and assist in maintaining a safe and compliant pharmacy environment. This temporary position for approximately three months offers hands-on experience in hospital-affiliated care.

Qualifications

• Experience transcribing prescriptions and physician orders with accuracy.
• Proficient aseptic technique for sterile IV products.
• Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems and labeling processes.
• Ability to read drug names, strengths, and dosage instructions.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities

• Transcribes physician orders to patient medication profiles and labels.
• Prepares medications and IV admixtures; maintains sterile technique.
• Assists with unit-dose dispensing, inventory control, and record-keeping.
• Ensures allergies and interactions are noted and documented.
