Qualifikationen

• GA State Board license required for pharmacy technicians.
• PTCB or NHA certification is preferred.
• Hospital or retail pharmacy technician experience is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Pull medication from stock and verify against patient labels.
• Deliver medications, restock automated cabinets, and reconcile charges.
• Perform cart fills and stock matrix drawers.
• Conduct IV rounds and credit patient accounts as needed.
• Answer calls and ensure legend drugs are checked by a licensed pharmacist; label typing.
• Perform floor visits and monitor inventory for expirations.
• Carry out narcotic rounds, inventorying and delivering supplies to cabinets.
• In Emergency Care Center, pull medication histories and verify current med lists with patients and families.
