Job summary

Corewell Health’s Royal Oak Hospital is seeking a dedicated pharmacy professional for the inpatient unit. You will work a midnight shift on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, performing IV admixtures, unit-dose preparation, and medication dispensing under pharmacist supervision.

Responsibilities include ensuring medication safety, reviewing orders, and assisting with patient and family education on medications, while rotating through hospital and potentially outpatient services as required.

Qualifications

• Experience with sterile compounding and/or hospital pharmacy workflow.
• High school diploma or GED required; ASHP-accredited technician training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, storage, distribution and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Perform IV admixtures and unit-dose preparation under supervision.
• Maintain safe, orderly work area and rotate through units as needed.
• Enter charges and maintain records for medications and IV solutions.
