Job summary

Essenti Talent is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for an inpatient hospital in Centerburg, Ohio. You will assist licensed pharmacists and help deliver medications to patients while ensuring accuracy and safety.

The role involves 4 ten-hour shifts (start times 7am–9am) with occasional weekends and holidays; a full benefits package is provided. The ideal candidate will have Ohio registration and PTCB certification, with readiness for IV compounding and stock management.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification from PTCB(CPHT) or must be certified within a year.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacists in providing health care and medications to patients; act as liaison between the public and the pharmacist.
• Prepare and distribute medications; maintain drug inventory and patient records; stock the pharmacy medications in a timely and accurate manner.
• IV compounding and adherence to organizational policies and professional practice standards; perform tasks under supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Assist with Pyxis filling, sterile IV compounding, medication histories, and restocking crash carts.
