Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I - Per Diem for the Inpatient Pharmacy in Manchester, NH. The role supports pharmacists, processes medications, and acts as a liaison with nursing staff to ensure safe medication delivery.

Responsibilities include handling provider orders, inventory maintenance, and triaging communications. NH board licensure and national certification are required, with one year of prior pharmacy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NH Board of Pharmacy Registration required.
• National and NH Board of Pharmacy certification required.
• One year of previous pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes and prepares all patient-specific medications as per provider order for pharmacist check.
• Distributes prepared medications to health system locations.
• Maintains automated dispensing cabinet medication inventory.
• Triages telephone calls to appropriate pharmacy personnel.
• Performs monthly floor inspections to assigned area locations.
• Triages nursing staff electronic communications to pharmacists.
• Serves as pharmacist operational support during assigned shifts.
