Job summary

Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I - Per Diem to support the inpatient pharmacy team. Varied day/early evenings with occasional second shift coverage, and weekend coverage as needed.

You will assist pharmacists and act as a liaison between Nursing and Pharmacy staff to prepare and dispense medications. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, NH Board of Pharmacy registration, and preferably one year of pharmacy experience; knowledge of NH

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NH Board of Pharmacy Registration is required.
• One year of pharmacy experience preferred.
• NH Drug laws knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare all patient-specific medications as per provider orders for pharmacist check.
• Distribute prepared medications to health system locations.
• Maintain automated dispensing cabinet medication inventory.
• Triages telephone calls to appropriate pharmacy personnel.
• Perform monthly floor inspections of assigned locations.
• Triages nursing staff electronic communications to pharmacists.
• Serve as pharmacist operational support during assigned shifts.
