Job summary

Liberty Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I - Inpatient to support inpatient units at the Liberty campus by preparing, stocking, and dispensing medications under supervision. You will work with pharmacists to ensure accurate labeling, participate in compounding and distribution, and maintain logs, records, and inventory with a strong emphasis on medication safety.

No prior experience is required; a High School diploma or GED is preferred, and certification (CPhT) and state registration

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols.
• Willingness to complete required certifications and continuing education.
• Experience not required but preferred in healthcare or pharmacy settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medications for dispensing following procedures and safety protocols.
• Distributes medications and maintains inventory and records for ADS systems.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory and performs monthly unit inspections.
• Operates pharmacy computer systems and ensures accurate data entry.
• Provides courteous patient care and directs questions to a pharmacist.
