Job summary

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• CPhT certification and board registration required per employment state.
• High School Diploma or GED is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medications for dispensing following procedures and safety protocols.
• Pulls and stocks medications in ADS machines and maintains accurate inventory.
• Restocks and rotates pharmacy inventory; identifies expiring medications.
• Operates pharmacy computer systems and documents records.
• Maintains required logs and records with accuracy.
• Provides courteous, professional service to patients, caregivers, and staff; directs questions to a pharmacist.
• Applies medication safety practices such as barcode scanning and double-checking labels.
• Performs duties as trained and supports unit-specific responsibilities.

CPhT - PTCB certification

Pharmacy Technician Registration (KS/MO)

High School Diploma or GED
