Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities include non-sterile and sterile compounding, preparing chemotherapy and IV additives, verifying orders, labeling, and maintaining accurate records.

You will manage stock, inventory in OR/surgical areas, and operate automated dispensing systems in a compliant manner. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED with Alaska license eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical care regulations and drug names.
• Experience with pharmaceutical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Non-sterile and sterile compounding.
• Prepare compounded preparations incl. chemotherapy and IV solutions.
• Interpret physician orders and ensure accurate labeling and records.
• Inventory management and stock replenishment in multiple areas.
• Operate dispensing systems and maintain compliance with regulations.
