Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Sterile compounding preferred.
• Knowledge of English language, math, and basic computer skills.
• Pharmacy technician certification/licensure within 1 year preferred/required by Iowa Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient profiles and medication lists.
• Assist with medication prep and distribution under supervision.
• Ensure proper storage and security of drugs.
• Stock and inventory management for dispensing cabinets.
• Deliver medications to nursing units and departments.
